St. Patricks Day a social worker came to our house with a huge stack of papers to be signed. At first we weren't sure what they were, most paper were about medical records, 'Will we care for said child? yes', etc... until we came to the last page: "This document must be signed with your FULL LEGAL NAME. This is the LEGAL document for the adoption of child mentioned above."
Yes I cried.
Our daughter was placed with us as our adopted child! Since one of the papers had my maiden name misspelled we have to re-sign the paper for the birth certificate! After recieved by California Adoption Services we get to fly to California to pick up the new Birth Certificate.
Our daughter will be sealed to us in the Provo Temple.
The tenative date for us to fly to California is April 3rd through 7th! Which means the sealing date will be April 10th. :) HIZZAH!!!!
