My tiny daughter paused and stared for a time at a place just above her head. Her blue eyes sparkling. It seemed to me that she was receiving some instruct from the other side of the veil.
Veil? What veil?
Unlike a veil worn by brides at weddings, the veil I speak of is the veil between Heaven and Earthly life. It is a boundary we cross when our spirit falls from Heaven and joins our Earthly body. This is an essential part of the Lord's plan and must be accomplished for us to join Him again in Heaven. We fall to Earth to be tested.
Whenever I have looked at a newborn, I've often felt like the veil between Heaven and Earth has not been fully removed. Slowly over time this newborn veil disappears.
For Lily, I've felt that the veil has never completely left, and is now pulling back to fully reveal Heaven again to her eyes. As the veil thins to Heaven, her body becomes ready to give up the ghost. This is all part of the Lord's plan. For Lily, for me and you and is called the plan of salvation.
The plan of salvation is the plan that the Lord has for us here on Earth. It started in Heaven when our Lord God in Heaven called the concourses of spirits together to reveal His plan for His children.
The plan is for our spirits to pass through the veil to Earth into an Earthly body, to be tested. Here, on Earth, the Lord would give us experiences to help us improve. We would be tempted and tried. We would learn good from evil and decide which path we would follow.
Though removed from the presence of the God, He would send to us a Savior, Jesus Christ, who would die for our sins and a comforter or Holy Ghost that could help guide us on the path of good and warn us away from the path of evil.
These three: God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are three separate spirit who are one in purpose.
The mortal realm provides us our body.
But the mortal realm requires death.
The plan of salvation also explains death. At death our mortal body dies and our spirit body goes to a place often explained as Paradise or Prison. This is the place where we wait before we still at the judgement bar before the Lord.
Though explained as a separation Paradise or Prison, my belief is that these places are together. Separated only by our own understanding. Those who experience Paradise, understand the Lord's plan and understand their await for judgement, it's not a scary time, but a time to continue to learn. Those in Prison, do not understand the Lord's plan, and may be afraid, they are not held in chains but instead held in fear. Those who experience Paradise can go teach those in Prison, and bring them into paradise with them. Also, persons who were never taught the gospel on Earth or never had the opportunity to learn, will also be taught.
Here, we still have a choice for good or evil. Our agency is never removed.
At the judgement bar, the Lord decides where we end up in the Eternities. The Celestial Kindgom, the highest degree of glory, comparable to the glory of the sun. The Terrestrial Kingdom, comparable to the glory of the moon. The Telestial Kingdom, comparable to the glory of the stars. Or lastly Outer Darkness, where the devil and his followers are cast.
At the judgement bar, none of us would have the ability to go to the Celestial kingdom, save by the grace of our Savior Jesus Christ. He advocates on our behalf.
But there are some spirits who do not have to wait in Paradise or Prison. Their are some Spirits who can enter the highest degree of glory the Celestial kingdom. They have already proved themselves worthy for the Kingdom of God through their goodworks prior to coming through the veil.
Lily is one such spirit. She will be able to walk back through the veil into the highest degree of glory the Celestial Kingdom where wonders and glories exist that neither has been seen, heard or imagined by man on Earth.
Children before the age eight, which is the age of accountability. Or persons born without the ability physically or mentally to chose all go straight to the Celestial Kingdom. Though am certain of other instances where persons go straight to the Celestial kingdom, I am not permitted to know who.
But why do they go straight to the Celestial Kingdom?
Because they proved through their goodworks and choices that they would chose the Lord's plan. Always.
